When I use Google as my search engine, all the results have an URL that starts with results5.  For example if I Google "travel", the URL appears to be:

but when I click on the link it takes me to:


I've read on other forums where it changes the DNS on the router.  We've tried resetting the router, but still experience the problem.  Any suggestions?

another forum thread user at firefox's website suggested the following.


Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - SuperAntispyware - Spybot Search & Destroy - Ad-Aware Free - Windows Defender: Home Page



Afterwards you may want to change your DNS on your router.
