I'm setting up new fios internet connection.
I have Google Wifi router
Do i need a modem as Google wifi router doesnt have coaxile cable just etheret ports.
FiOS does not use modems.
It is actually a router.
if you don't have FiOS TV service, you can ask to have internet via Ethernet.
if you do have FiOS TV service, you can still use your own router with a device called mica adapter to feed stbs. Read thread at the tip regards to how to configure your own router.
