I think and Gaming and wireless is bad combo, but the following may help you
Verizon router uses a Reverse SMA 7 DB Antenna, You should be able to fine more powerfull antenna perhaps by the local Radio Shack or something just make sure you get one that higher than 7 DBs for that what on the BHR by default.. Was told they make a 7 DBs. . In addition to that you can also log into you router and Change the Wireless channel from Auto to channel 11. that will help by the keeping the interference to a minimum
