Internet keeps dropping

So recently my Verizon internet service has been dropping intermittently, but the internet globe on my router is still white. I know it is not a device problem because it affects every device on my network.

To both of you:

#1 Do you have wired computers connected to the router?

#2 Only if so: Does this happen only on the wireless connection?

#3 While we get that you have FIOS Internet, do you also have FIOS TV?

#4 What is the brand and model of your router?

Please note for this next question even if you have another one that is not use, you must say no. For example: No, but it is a spare.

Q 5: Is that the only router that you have?

#6 If no to that question: What is the brand and model of the other router?

Please note for this next question: One of the NICs must be a wired NIC.

Q 7: Do you have spare computer that works that either has two NICs or you could add a second NIC?

I am not the original poster, but have this same issue:

Yes, I have one.  It drops the connection as well.

Yes, I have one.  It drops the connection as well.

Yes.

Verizon supplied router; with coaxial and ethernet; I just bought an almond.  But the internet still dropped today.

we just bought an almond, hoping it would solve the problem.  but the internet still kept cutting out today in spite of the router saying it had a great signal.

A simple search with an online search engine, like Google finds out this

Anyways, put the fios router into bridge mode and use your own router. If the g3100, see Just got a G3100 and a new setup. How do I bridge it?

The internet would drop every so often before, now it’s daily and multiple times a day.
