I'm currently living with my folks and plan to move out soon to either an apartment or single bedroom home or something similar anywhere in the state of washington. i will be getting in some subsidized housing list or something since i get ssi benefits for disability. king county housing authority is one possible program i will look into.

i will need good internet service and want to get fios. so what is the best way for me to find out where i need to move to to get fios?

Thanks.

mmm, i'd say get the list of addresses where u want to move in and then go to verizon.com to see if there's FiOS service in the area.

this doesn't work. i want to move to where i can get fios. not the other way around and see if fios is where i want to live because i dont care where i live as long as i get fios. i wanna move to where i can get fios.

i have already tried looking up availablity on verizon web site but it's way too hard to use with all the stupid boxes to put in numbers and letters for the address. it needs to be what is the address, city and state and thats it. not all the other crap. and it should not spread it out to different boxes for s or nw and crap. it's way too difficult for me to use.

i just need someone to tell me where i have to move to get fios from the available choices in the programs i would be getting into.. like i would want to call verizon and say where do i have to live to get fios. because i don't care as long as i can get fios and it's at a place i will be able to get from getting into some sort of housing program.

i guess what i can do is copy all the addresses from one program i might get into and then give the list to someone at verizon or someone who would be willing to help me and ask them if i could get fios at any of those places. the places i could get fios is where i would apply to live at and then verizon will get my business thus my money. 🙂

I don't know a better way to find out locations besides using the website like suggested.  It wouldn't be completely true to just say "this city has FiOS" when only parts have it and etc. That's for pretty much any town or city. I can tell you the states we have a presence in but that's about it.

Sorry I can't be more of a help.

Yes I guess it's not totally feesable to tell someone what I'm asking for. So thank you for helping me to realize that.

My problem is the verizon web site checker is too hard to use for me. It has too many boxes to put in info and it is too complex on where to put stuff. I don't know what a street name means and stuff. The only thing I know is what the address is which would be given from the housing program web site and then I don't know how to enter that into the verizon checker because it doesn't accept the address the way it's officially written or the way I have it. I really need someone to take a list I give them and do it for me, I really do.. It is impossible to know for me if I had to move into in apartment what floor and room I'd get. This I think is insane anyhow cus yer either at the place or not. Floor and room don't matter.

Like 22222 48th pl s

city, wa 98888 I have no clue how to enter that.

That's a fake address by the way, but you get my point.

May I please give someone a list and have them look for me? I don't want to spend that much time and I don't know how to use the web site checker anyway. There should be a way for verizon staff to take my list of addresses and put them into their computer and say search and then get an answer. I don't mean using the web site checker, but something where they could enter in all the addresses via like copy and paste and say search.

I believe you can call customer support with an (possible) address and ask them when it will be available there.   If it already is, well, they will try to hook u up.

That is an option except that it will take a long time talking it over the phone where of course a copy and paste would be way faster. However it's something to do I guess.

What's the number and hrs?

Thanks.

Hmmm...subsidized housing and FiOS.  Premium cable in a subsidized housing area?

I don't think you will find that very often, since FiOS costs well over $100/month after promotion and people in subsidized housing

usually cannot afford $100/month.

There I said it.  The 800-pound gorilla has spoken.  We all thought it!  🙂
