I'm moving from XFNITY and land phone lines. I now have Cat 5 xfnity cables on the right side of my house. I belive FIOS can use those cables. However, my current line is in the rear of the house. How will FIOS connect to my old land lines?
Could a cable be run outside the side of my house to my main phone line ?
We are having our electrician put power in our electrical closet to put the ONT box in there, but that is a distance from the current telepone input. I'm also thinking we could even run an ethernet cable along the side of the house to where I now have my router. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
