My Fios Story - Could it be??!?!

Here is the story.  Ive been waiting on fios for well over 3 years now ever since i have heard of it and i tend to check every few months to see if i can get it.  Unforunately i have not been able to get it for the last 3 years however they are putting down lines in certain areas of my city recently. In fact, i know half of the city got fios already because i called city hall 2 days ago and they told me that verizon has laid down half the lines but unforunately will not finish the other half of the city because the economy is bad.  So anyways, i decided to finally give up on my quest for fios once again.

Two days later i decide hey why not try for the verizon dsl 7mb connection maybe i can get that instead.  So i did the following put my number in and such and then it says "available! do you want to try fios?" i gave it a quick thought hell why not try one more time, and bam! this is the message i get "Online Ordering Currently Unavailable, Thank you for your intererest in Verizon Fios Internet service!Fios is available to you, but  we are unable to take your order at this time. Please call your 888-GET-Fios to place your order..etc" i was so happy that i couldnt even sleep the whole night but then i thougth to myself how could i get fios?

I thought and thought and calmed myself down a little bit before i rethought again. How could i get fios?

1. i havent seen anyone put down any lines or boxes around my house,

2. the city hall already told me they stopped construction on fios

3. i tried to get fios 2 days earlier and they told me that its not available

4. i tried verify my neighbors address and it fails

on top of that due to the location of my house its would require them to pull a special line to my house however they didnt need to do that for verizon dsl.  however i do know that fios is different than dsl so it requires the same thing as cable where they would need to pull a line to my house.  The reason i mention this is because i wanted to get charter cable to my house a few years back and the customer support told me that it is available for my house however when they came by to my house they told me due to my location they would need to put a very long line of cable and its not possible unless i want to pay 10,000 dollars.  Its a little hard to explain where my location is but my house is on top of a hill all by itself.  The hill is pretty big not a small hill so i am at least well over 500 foot from the nearest street to my neighbors.  {edited for privacy} . If anyone has any knowledge of if its possible that would be great. Feel free to google map my house to see how its is, i just dont want to get my hopes up.

ps. i placed the order with verizon today and they said that i can order it. I am scheduled for the 17th however i am still feeling very doubtful about this.  Then again i did happen to get dsl with out them pulling any lines a couple years back, but then its preconnected to the phone lines so its a whole different story.

every fios install gets a new line. Its a fiber optics line right to your house.

YES YES YES its gonna happen 😉 The order is in the system and the line going up to the house will be laid the day before you get installed but everything looks good so far.
