Just looking for some info on moving the "FIOS" (box) a few feet from its install location ... would be simple email request but verizion and other companies have the same problem ... dont allow people to email as a support option.

If you mean the ONT and not the router, you cannot move the ont only Verizon can do it and even then they may not do it.
the router can be moved via a large length of ethernet cable. This way you can do it yourself. Other than that call 1-800-VERIZON but be aware that Verizon may charge you for the move.
