Kind of confused. Put what through the computer with router?
after you have internet you will need to go to the manfacturers web site and download the drivers for your printer and then use the LAN setup. or you can go to your printers settings and select the new lan setup and select your wifi that is on your quantum router (via the network name) or you can just reinstall the printer drivers as I said above and select the USB setup is that is what you had previously or select the wifi lan setup.

If your printer is wired or wireless, re-install your printer. But do so only after reserving an IP address for your printer in the router. This is a feature called DHCP Reservation.
If you have any software firewalls on your computer, make sure the firewall is set to trust the network, or that the firewall mode is set to "Home." Many default to Public which blocks things like communicating with the printer.
