Red globe after a few days, requires optical reset every time

Hi, I got FiOS Verizon internet installed in my apartment about 1 month ago.

During the time the internet has gone out 6 times. Every time it is the same issue where the globe on the router turns solid red.

The first time I called Verizon and they did an Optical Network reset. This reset it for 3 days approximately.

The next times I used to the Fios phone App to initiate the optical network reset. The main issue is it takes about 30 minutes with the troubleshooter to go through all the steps to let you do the optical reset.

How do I fix this very annoying problem? Thank you.

Call 1-800-VERIZON get a tech support person and swap out the router.

that is the first thing I would do.
