Has anyone had luck connecting to a server at work from home using FiOS at home? We have a Linksys VPN router at the office. Can access the office network using mobile broadband and other internet service providers but not FiOS. Our ISP for the office is Verizon DSL. The VPN client has no problem connecting to the office, but then remote desktop will not allow the connection. Does Verizon block this? I have made sure that the service is enabled in the router. Thanks in advance if anyone has advice. -CJ

As of 12/31/08, the ability to use remote desktop still seems to not be available. Is there an update as to when this functionality will be unlocked?
Thanks

Verizon blocks certian ports but nothing that would prevent a VPN connection.

Hello CJ,
I'm having the exact problem as you did, i.e. VPN connection established, but remote desktop doesn't work.
Do you mind saying if your problem has been solved, and how?
Thanks,
J
