I have the CR1000A router. My changes from the default settings are SON:Off, An SSID and password for both 2.4 gHz and 5 gHz. I lost power for a minute last night and the router rebooted to it's default settings. Is this normal? I am quite surprised by this and is saving the configuration to a file the best work around?

Do you know what causes power failure? If it is a short power surge resulting an overvoltage or an arc, it could cause the Flash memory in CR1000A to reset.
