Setting device address as static

I was wondering if there was a way to set a device address as static, much like the way address reservation works on Windows Server DHCP. The only reason I imagine this will work is because I see this attached to devices, IP Address Source: DHCP (or Status).

Which router are you using? What type of device?

Yes on the Actiontech it is under the advanced section. IP address distribution. Connection list will alow you to set an IP address to be assigned based on the MAC address.

The best way to change you DHCP table to start at 192.168.1.100, and then statically assign a IP to the device from 192.168.1.2 - .1.99
