I just got fios internet and TV installed on friday. While the tv and dvr is working great, the internet is slow and the signal is weak. Tech support cant really help me since all their tests indicate i am getting the correct speeds and what not, so i want to use my apple router instead of the verizon one.
I think i need to use the verizon router for the TV but i should be able to plug in an airport hub via ethernet and use that for wireless broadcasting, correct? If this is the case, can anyone give me a walk through as to anything special i might need to do? I dont want the verizon router to be broadcasting a second network.
