Actual uploads and downloads are in fact much closer to the SpeedTest speeds than what Verizon is giving me.

downloads and uploads "to where"
not all sites can upload 35 mb's, that is why I suggested Microsofts.

that is the only hop that I can see that is marginally bad, it's up there so maybe that particular router is getting hit. It's not "stop the press" bad but it's noticeable. I would never expect it to cut your speed in half though that is for sure. but it's a possible distressed router.
ping it directly for a while and see if it consistently gives bad results.
so
ping 152.63.114.145 -t
that initiates a continuous ping that won't be stopped until you hit CTRL + C
so give it a minute and then CTRL C it and give us just the "ping statistics"

To my 1 and 1 Hosting service, via FTP. And they speeds are basically showing exactly what SpeedTest is saying.
I don't have any accounts with Microsoft to upload everything.

hm, that looks exceptionally good. It's possible the speed is an issue, you can test the download easily using the MS website and downloading a file, but you can't test the upload that way unfortunately.
Maybe try cross posting at the VZ direct forum and let their Tier II guys take a look at your circuit and the way you are provisioned.

I have had the same problem. I powered off the modem on and off a couple of times. I fixed by getting a pen and using the tip to press in the RESET button for 15-20 seconds. I had to do this twice; it will reset your admin password. Once it came back up; my speeds where as advertised. When I tested it on speed test.

Hi,
Just to make sure, have you tried optimize your browser?,if so, contact Verizon fios by chat and ask
to "Break the dhcp lease in your circuit" and "re-boot the ONT" this will refresh the entire service in your home
FYI
if you have tv-fios service and this include {Video on demand}, this feature works pulling information from the net
through your router.
May be is time to refresh the service
Good luck!
