Hmm, maybe this sounds silly -- however I want to basically slow down the connection speed for an xbox that's connected to my fios router. The reason for this is because with the higher speed connection 35/35 which I have, Xbox Live / Game servers force lag, and over lag compensate causing almost unplayable games due to delays, etc -- It's really bad.
So I want to somehow slow down a connection (hard wired) from the router, if that's possible.
Router is: Verizon MI424WR Router
What are my options if any, even if I can't do it through the router?
I'd appreciate any help I can get, as this has become so irritating ever since I upgraded my internet. I need the higher speeds, but the compensation to force lag by the games is beyond something I can deal with any longer.
