I'm switching from PC to Mac. I currently have fios internet and fios TV/DVR. I have Actiontec. Cable going in to COAX. Ethernet going
from LAN 1 to PC. When I hook up mac I will also have Time Capsule. Do I put ethernet to computer or to Time Capsule?
Mac can be wireless, in fact I already access internet with it. But I am changing it's location, getting rid of PC and so it does not
have to be wireless, as all components are in the same location - computer, time capsule, actiontec, printer, they are all
in same area. TV with DVR has cable running to DVR is in a different room. I've read some threads, and I have no idea if DVR
needs the actiontec.
Once I'm hooked up, will I need to download anything from Verizon?
I'm definitely a newbie making this switch, to any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a thread on Time Capusle and FIOS:

The Mac as a node on the network is just that, no extra software needed. I believe the Actiontec is needed for the DVR and other STB's as it provides the Guide and other data.

Why would you do that to yourself?
He is obviously interested in moving away from the dark side. Have and use both and prefer the Mac for most tasks.
