I no longer need the previous Verizon ActionTec router. Is doing a hard reset (either through the web interface or via the button on the back of the router) the best way to completely remove all previous configurations? Additionally, is there a market for these routers?

The button on the back of the router does a factory reset back to its original configuration. Some people like to use a 2nd router as a Moca bridge so there is a market for it.
