I'm having some problems setting up my Verizon email accout on my Motorola CLIQ. I entered my email settings manualy. I'm able to recieve mail but not send. Can anyone help me figure this out. Thanks
Here are my current settings:
INCOMING SETTINGS:
POP MAIL SERVER
Server: incoming.verizon.net
Port: 110
User secure connection and verify certificate are both unchecked
OUTGOING SETTINGS:
SMTP server: outgoing.verizon.net
Port: 25
User secure connection and verify certificate are both unchecked

Do you have the option for using a username and password for the outgoing server checked? Not being familiar with the CLIQ's UI, I can't be very specific.
Also, if you could provide the error you are getting that would probably help with isolating the problem.

Yes, I'm using the same L/P for my outgoing and incoming settings.
This is the error: " Verizon message not sent, Authentication error sending".
EDIT: I can send mail when I'm connected to WIFI, but I can't send mail when I'm not.
