Verizon router down?

When accessing certain websites this morning, specifically scout.com, I can't connect.  A tracert reveals it can't even get there.  The second hop once it leaves my house shows:

3  G0-10-0-4.BLTMMD-LCR-21.verizon-gni.net [130.81.221.182]  reports: Destination net unreachable.

Tracerts to other sites take a different path

There's a chance the router has a bad routing table. Doesn't mean it down, it's just not working as it should. A link could always be down, though!

I had connectivity problems this morning at 4:00AM Pacific. IE and Chrome both had problems with DNS services

A long call to Verizon (like 40 minutes long) lead at the end to a report of a service interruption in a number of states with no repair ETA.
