Prior to migrating to FiOS I used cable internet access with a Linksys router easily accessed by two laptops. Moved to FiOS using Verizon Router and one laptop [Dell} recognizes the V. Router signal and one [Lenovo Think Pad] does not - no wireless network recognized at all! Thoughts?

You might check Wireless Settings > Wireless Status to see if 80211.b/g are enabled. Might be that laptop that doesn't see the wifi network is on b or g and the router isn't set to allow that mode.

Many Lenovo laptop have the switch to enable/disable wireless on the front of the laptop. Make sure that is slid to the right. Do you see any wireless LAN signals at all?

If you don't see ANY wireless networks at all, then your adapter is off.
Check the switch as suggested earlier
