There could be a couple of things causing the blockage of information to the weather widget. Please start by uninstalling and reinstalling the toolbar. This will clear it the majority of the time. If you are still having troubles, please send me a private message.

nope. doesn't work for me either. 3 separate systems, all identical results. the WX is always NYC and I can't change it. gotta remember though, corp HQ for Verizon is NYC...coincidence? i think not...

Best solution.  Uninstall Verizon toolbar.  Do not use it!  You don't need it.  You will have no more problems with it!!

Seconded. The performance hit from Toolbars, Web Desktop/Toolbar combo programs, and desktop apps that start on system start-up for some silly convenience is not worth it. I keep my browsers as minimal as possible, except for add-ons that provide a lot of functionality for the web instead of shortcut buttons. When you can cold boot a computer that is a few years old and have the browser open within a second or two of seeing the desktop, it's well worth it. Anything that slows my machines down, unless they serve a very good purpose are often not wanted so I pretty much start with a stock install of Windows, pop in the needed software for all devices, and avoid anything that isn't needed. Having a machine that is a few years old cold boot Windows 7 64-bit within 10 seconds and be at the desktop is nice. My gaming desktop, if I ever shut the thing down or reboot it, runs Vista, and it starts up within 10 seconds with all startup programs (basically F@H) launched and running. Granted, that machine is on a Solid State Disk for Windows. My other machines are on regular mechanical disks for everything.

See my browsers (My version of Firefox is Beta, hence additional plug-ins. These are from my laptop. My desktop has games running on it right now in addition to F@H, in a party so I do not wish to crash my game out by Alt+Tabbling):

yep, agree w/you both. I did some measurements w/it loaded and I'm not a big fan of BHO's to begin with and after about a week er so realized it wasn't worth it and just made a couple of linkbar favs to home, mail, and here. I did note some performance issues with IE9 so that led me to investigate and can em. I'm not a big google fan either and don't even get me going about yahoo...LOL...thanks guys...ya'll merely provided a couple extra nails in the already descendng toolbar coffin.
