WECB3000N FirmWare Upgrade (Non-VZ model)

Is there a ink to the firmware? Purchased the unit from Amazon, so it's "generic." I am unable to use WPS to sync the Extender with the Quantum Gateway router. 

I have also tried to plug LAN to LAN -- so the Extender is connected to the Quantum router. I've ensured that in the Quantum router admin GUI: 

        Broadband Connection (Ethernet/Coax) Properties: "Privacy" is enabled ...

The instructions for the Extender are useless... any help would be appreciated..

Objective: create MCOA bridge -- to leverage faster speeds (ONT --> WAN COAX --> Quantum ---> WECBN)

Maybe this link will help you, though in both cases in the thread they apparently could not download the firmware update even though somebody mentioned that there was a vz only firmware update.
