Why does Verizon Charge both a Tech install fee and an installation fee when you first get service?  Isn’t that the same thing? 2 charges of $99 right of the bat is absurd and leaves a bad taste in one’s mouth. I have been a loyal customer and recently moved and had to pay these fees.  I was able to get the installation fee waived but Has anyone had both of these fee’s waived?

That would be pure “greed” if done on purpose.

however I would hazard a guess it was a double bill in error.

the $99 fee is normally waived if you set the install up yourself via online.

however once you speak or chat with any Verizon rep, you will get dinged.
