Why Doesn't Verizon FIOS have a real network Status Page

Seriously,

Verizon claims they are the highest end, fastest internet service on the market.

SO WHY DONT YOU HAVE A REAL NETWORK STATUS PAGE?

Google has a dashboard, and a Status Page!

https://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en&v=status

https://code.google.com/status/appengine

So why is it when verizon network has an outage, we are left wondering what is going on?

Every major company or network operations center has a public facing REAL TIME NETWORK STATUS PAGE that end users can view.  Maybe this status page wouldn't share specific details, but it's time to BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR NETWORK OUTAGES THAT ARE AFFECTING CUSTOMERS.  Don't leave us in the dark and stuck on support calls with support engineers who advise us to restart modems when you know there are ongoing outages upstream or at your NOC.

{please keep it relevant}

So I am forced to ask VERIZON: JUST WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE?

Seriously don't be SHADY Verizon.

I will say that they used to have a network status page. It then fell into disrepair and was never updated. Having a status page has been a common thing brought up in the Ideas section of this forum almost every few months, and I agree one should be used.
