Has anybody got Wi-Fi Connect to install on Windows 8? Everytime I try to install, it says that my OS is not supported and I need to upgrade.

Verizon probably has not updated the utility to work with Win8.
Hopefully they will and will somehow appraise the customer base. However, chances are they will update the utility in silence.

Boingo should have an update, Boingo is an alternate WiFI connect software that will utilize the Verizon Screen name you made, and work. Give it a try let us know. www.boingo.com

You don't need WiFi Connect to use a Win 8 system. I've got two new laptops with Win 8 and both connected easily.

I work at JFK airport and need the Wifi connect software to login to Boingo for free. Boingo's software does not work with my Verizon login.

it won't work with the default verizon login, you have to sign in and make a verizon wifi account name.
- log into verizon.net
- hover over my verizon
- select manage my internet
- select manage under wifi
- view the how to section
- and you will see the register option there.

As of today, when I spoke with tech support, they don't have the hotspot for Windows 8 done yet. Tech said, when I asked, that they expect it to be available in 1 to 2 months. Take that for what it's worth. You will need minimum of 15/5 Fios to be eleigible

I tried several time to make this post, but apparently the forum software does not like the latest version of flash and will not accept web links properly. I give up. If you search this forum for "hotspots only for PC" you should find some help. It works fine with any operating system, including Windows 8. You do not need to use the specific Verizon connect software.
