Topic pretty much says it all and I know it's NOT the cost of the channel that will keep it off your list

There was a major thread for requesting just the NASA channel over a year ago and it went absolutely nowhere. By the time Verizon finally adds this channel (if ever) there won't be any launches and missions to space to watch
The Idea exchange thread on which channels to add no longer accepts requests
http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-TV-Programming/Suggest-Channels-to-Add-to-FiOS-TV/td-p/57288
but thanks for pointing me to the place that verzion IGNORES requests.
I see that hunfreds of people have requested this channel for YEARS yet verizon has just plain ignoreed them
I WILL let my voice be seen and heard
NASA TV now has a full-time HD Channel available at no cost to cable and satellite service providers. Live coverage of space shuttle missions, on-orbit video of Earth captured by astronauts aboard the International Space Station, and rocket launches of advanced scientific spacecraft are among the programming offered on NASA HD. Also available are imagery from NASA’s vast array of space satellites, as well as media briefings, presentations by expert lecturers, astronaut interviews and other special events, all in the improved detail and clarity of high-definition.

That thread was not on the Idea Exchange. It was on this board.
Add your votes for NASA here: http://forums.verizon.com/t5/Share-Your-Ideas-with-Verizon/How-about-the-NASA-channel/idi-p/240550
That is where it will get seen by the FiOS product manager.
