No, more from the perspective of Verizon's business model where it behooves this company to satisfy the request(s) being made by 99% of their subscriber base.
I really wish that when you responded to Armond's post you responded to the entire post instead of taking one sentence out of context and repeating it without attribution. There is a lot of that happening from the right these days.
Anyway... The premise of your response is fatally flawed due to the destination from which you pulled that 99% figure from. Aside from yourself and a handful of others, I am not convinced that most of the forum posters who are clamoring for The Blaze, are even Verizon subscribers. Glen Beck, and his ilk, do inspire loyalty from a very vocal minority of the misguided,, and the pathologically paranoid, who yearn for a status quo that was never intended by the framers of our constitution. You would know that if you had ever read it. But, then again, you probably didn't even make it to the second sentence of Armond's post.
Still, if Verizon really believed it would benefit their business they would include it. However ratings aren't the only recipe for financial success in television. Remember Mr.. Beck wasn't removed from FOX because of terrible ratings, he was removed because major advertisers no longer wanted to be associated with him and he was poisoning the network, if that was possible. He is now where he belongs... Poisoning the internet.

So I guess the moral of this story is Verizon will provide carriage for programming that no one has interest for provided their fee to carry is "cheap."
