I wanted to record the NASCAR race Saturday night in HD, since I was going to a cook-out then fireworks afterward. I didn’t want to miss the race. Well wouldn’t you know it, I go to program my DVR and the program information for TNT-HD is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! Instead of having the race beginning at 8 (like it was scheduled all along) the WONDEFUL program guide had it starting at 5 ending at 8 with movies on at 8 and 10. Ironically for TNT-SD the program guide information was correct!!!!!!!!! Things like this continue to boggle my mind.
Does anybody at Verizon care!?!?!?!?!?!? Why are we continuously subjected to such substandard and plain old incompetent service with this program guide? Even Comcast, with their myriad of faults, at least was able to get their program guide right most of the time.
I do love my FiOS, but these darn, never ending issues with this program guide are leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

I got nailed by the same anomolie in the guide. I noticed it when I arrived at the BBQ and tried to change it with Remote DVR, but it would not respond (STB Changing TCP/IP Address - Already Fixed It).
At least I got to see the 1st half of the race since I always bumnp out sporting events by 2 hours to allow for delays. And I did see the end of the race where I was at.
By the way, they also had the Race in the Guide on the HD Channel on Sunday at 8PM which was also wrong.
