Just signed up for FiOS this week, migrating from DirecTV where I had the MLB Extra Innings package. Verizon wants $129 for the rest of the season (just confirmed with an online chat) but I can get the same package direct from MLB (actually, not quite the same... there are no commercials on MLB) for $25 per month. Since there's only roughly one month left in the season, that's a pretty substantial savings. Even I waste $25 on a second month that'll only be about 10 days long I'm still $79 to the good. What am I missing? How does Verizon sell any of these at $129?
