I just had to post and say that I think the whole idea of the "extreme HD package" is total {word filter avoidance} .  When I signed up for my service, I signed up for the HD package and I was told that I would recieve all the available HD channels other than the primium HD channels such as HBO and Showtime.  I was also told that as more channels became available in HD they would be automatically added to my account.  Now my standard HD package doesn't even include channels like FoxnewsHD, FXHD, or SpeedHD.  So what is going to happen if I sign up for the extreme package?  How long with that last?  Maybe a year from now when there are even more HD channels available Verizon will establish the "super extreme HD package" and I will be expected to "upgrade" again.  I ordered the HD package, is it really unresonalbe for me to expect to recieve all the HD channels?  My tv bill alone is well over one hundred bucks a month with no movie channels and I don't even get all the HD channels???  Sorry, but I feel like I am being juiced a little here.  Also, what is up with this web site?  Why can't I change my channel line up on-line?  Does verizon really think I want to call and wait on-hold just to talk to someone that is generally very unhelpfull?  Do they think I want to call and wait on-hold just so I can give them more of my money each month?

Verison should realize that we have options such as Directv, dish network, and brighthouse.

Can't wait until my contract is up!!

I feel you Paboshon. I believe Fios was good, what? probably 1 year n before. But starting this summer(2008) it seems that they just got a lot o people signed up for fios tv and when u there already they start to increase the price little by little... I remember when i signed up on May 2008 the movie package was 25 bucks including hbo n cinemax, now that i saw the different package pricing i found out that is 30bucks already.. I believe that conpared to Dish Network that charged me 20 buck extra to add HD programing 2years ago, Fios isnt that bad because  we dont pay extra. However Dish Network Receivers cost only 5buck sd, and 7hd when Fios is 5bucks sd, but charges 10 for hd and if u want dvrs 14.99. So anywyas i think we pay that extra money. I bellieve there gotta be like a regulation or some type of law to regulate all this arising prices of tv, internet and phone providers......
