I just got my Fios Monday (april 27th). I am learning the ropes with the STB's but I can't seem to find the Fox shows on On demand. I am looking for Fringe in HD.

Also, are there any HBO HD items on On Demand? All of the other prieminum channels have HD ON Demand, except HBO.
Also my wife just told me that her "little people, Big world" show cut out after just 20 Mins. and it is a 1 hour show. Could there be something wrong with our box?

FOX is not carried in the on demand selections. Don't know if this FOX's not releasing shows for on demand or if FiOS just doesn't carry them. You can watch some of their shows on line (haven't any experience with other cable systems on demand).
HBO HD on demand used to be there but disappeared a while ago. Again, don't know if that is HBO's doing or FiOS.

I concur with TimSykes.
I know of someone that refuses to sign up for cable b/c he can view all of these shows for free online.

I almost did the same thing, but then Verizon tossed out a great deal when I went to cancel the install.

Actually, News Corp no longer owns DirecTV. Fox decided some time ago not to do on demand with anyone. They wanted to push everyone to their websites. You can go to local Fox TV station websites and watch many of their most popular shows online. You can also find them on hulu.com. I think this was primarily Fox's recognition that the web is the cheapest way of distributing this content in a manner that allows them to collect all the potential ad revenue.

FOX is in bed with Directv, thus, they won't support their network shows to Comast/FIOS. I vaguely recall seeing FX available on-demand with Comcast, but I think it was one or two shows.
