I don't know why they do this, especially when it is included in a lower tier.
It's like being penalized for spending more money!

i totally agree. if the lower tier has it, then why remove it from one in which a customer is paying more? I just upgraded my internet and had to update to the lastest extreme HD package in which hallmark movies and mysteries is no longer a part of. It makes me so angry that now if i want the channel back, i will have to pay even more for cable.

All based on the contravt.
Verizon contract probably says it has to be carried inthe lowest tier.
They have decided that middle tier doesn't pay enough to get that and other channels not carried.
Ultimate is just that- everything.

It does make me motivated to look at competitors. Verizon should factor that into their decision making.
