Concerning the sale of WZME, while it is true the station was sold the buyer was the owner of MeTV.

On September 1, 2021, WZME was sold to Weigel Broadcasting. MeTV programming returned to the station via Weigel's MeTV Plus on September 27, 2021. On April 1, 2022, MeTV Plus on DT1 was replaced with Story Television.

So MeTV's owner is responsible for the removal of MeTV plus from Fios.

Weigel Broadcasting owns both METV+ and Story Television . Therefore it was their choice to change the programming from one of their formats (METV+) to another(Story Television). I think we agree this was a poor decision but there is nothing we can do about it other than write Weigel Broadcasting

yea. verizon aint making enough money , they got to mess with a channel that alot of seniors watch , because it was descent TV programming, not the rude , vulgar , commercial TV that they cash in on

Again this is not Verizon's fault. Weigal Broadcasting bought WZME TV to put their Story TV programming on. However when the deal closed Story TV wasn't broadcasting yet. Rather than have the station dark until Story TV started, Weigel put METV+ on the channel as something to broadcast until Story TV was ready.

FYI Weigel also owns Decades, Movies!, Start TV, and H&I( Heroes and Icons) all sub channels that are broadcast on the NY Fios system below channel 500.  The only channel of their's that Fios doesn't carry is METV+ .
