Any news on what is going on with MSG HD .   I am supposed to have Fios installed on March 6, but prob won't happen as this is the second time the snow will cause me to have a delay on my installation, but as much as I want FIos I am also still hesitant as I don't know how good the quality of MSG is on Standard version.  So I am hoping they get MSG HD, but not sure if they are getting it or not.  So if anyone has heard anything please let me know.  Thanks

Although the FCC voted to make it more difficult for Cablevision to withhold MSG, the channel is still owned by Cablevision.  If MSG makes a deal with FIOIS, then Cablevision stands to lose thousands of customers. So...how much would MSG want to anger their owners by making their channels available??  And how much money would it take to ease that anger?  Obviously, FIOS has been trying very hard, but it is still a sticky situation.

Cablevision if they are appealing the FCC Decision has until next Saturday , march 6 to do so. Tnat is the 45th day since Jan 20 FCC Decision and they gave the Incumbent Operators 45 days to rebut the decision by the FCC.  I think it will be on by March . If not march, really hope by next season, which in NHL terms, its Sept.

I wouldn't even be hopeful about next season. Cablevison can take the FCC to court over the recent decison, and after that is worked out, Verizon has to make a complaint to the FCC. MSG will then use appeal after appear to drag this out even longer, possibly for years.

Of course, that's a worst case scenario.
