Does anybody know the status of the Verzion complaint against Cabelvision which witholds MSGHD and MSG+HD? One would think this would have been resolved by now.

If you think this should be resolved by now then you probably are underestimating the pettiness of James Dolan , he's a vile creature and this is the kind of stuff he digs his heals in for....and guess what? , with the resurgence of the Knicks I have no doubt he believes this adds to his leverage.

The case is going to the US Court of Appeals - Cablevison v. FCC on February 14, 2011 in Washington, D.C. at 9:30 AM. It will be heard by three judges. You can look up the FCC Case Number 10-1062 (as well as the US Court of Appeals Docket). Let's hope the court rules in favor of the FCC who sees Cableveison as being anti-comptetitve among other things.
I can't wait to get MSG HD.

Not to mention getting a fiber feed from MSG Network to Verizon, then grooming the channel into the lineup. Not a speedy process from past experience. At least a court date is near and we're not waiting on the FCC anymore. That's always the part that takes the longest. I believe the only way for the Dolans to drag this out after the Court of Appeals is to convince the Supreme Court to hear the case.
