all,

in hopes to actually get the wheels moving on this channel addition and show verizon continued interest in adding it, I went ahead and threw together a small website for gaining "signatures" (similar to this thread)

I live in Pr. Georges Co., MD near the Goddard Space Center and no NASA channel. Strange. Am thinking of going back to Dish.

flywithbill, you might try going to OTA television for that channel, based on your proximity to goddard. I live near NASA Ames Research center in the Bay Area (CA) and I pick up a NASA channel on my OTA antenna.
