New Guide on FIOS TV

What do you all think about the new Guide in FIOS TV?  I think it's terrible.  The channel you have selected shows the name of the show twice which is confusing. The new, flattened layout, which everyone is doing from Windows 8 to SI.com, seems to be the rage but I have no idea why because it is not easy to use.  Seems that just because it looks modern and cool management thinks it is also easy to use.  Just wondering what anyone else thinks.  I think Verizon failed it on this one.

Terrible. The last guide style worked well because they had a white strip to show how far into the show we were. It was also easier to see which channel you were on in the guide because the color changed lightly. Now it has a red strip below it which is distracting. I do like the On-Demand feature that pops up when you scroll left. However, it seems that every channel says "There is no onDemand content available for this channel" so it isn't clear that this feature works since the channels actually DO have on demand content. All in all I don't care for the style or colors but will probably eventually get used to it, as I did with the last change. Not much we can do about it.

I HATE THE NEW GUIDE FORMAT !! It is not very clear. Scrolling right, does not move the page, it just highlights the next program, but the program listed first does not move.

Scrolling for upcoming shows is awful.

When you scroll to the right to view upcoming shows on the half hour, and then scroll down, to see what is showing on other channels, if one of the shows is an hour long then your search is will be changed and all of the following channels you view will be changed to display what is on at the hour (for example if you look for shows at 8:30, it swtiches to what is on at 8:00).

You didn't make the one change really needed...especially for older people. We need the option to be able to see only 3-4 shows at a time so that the type is LARGER & readable. Other cable companies give you this option. Please add this.

Verizon sucks (for a internet company you think they might actually know a little about programming)

The guide is unusable on a standard def small tv 13". I have to be not more the 2' away to read it.

Also on a High Def  19" also unusable.

You think they would put some people in a room and actually look at the guide befrore jamming down our throat's

I don't need 6 channel per screen  in the guide. 2 is plenty.

MAKE THE FONT BIGGER!!!!!!!

Sorry but I completely disagree. I think the guide looks fine and I want 6 channels on the screen not 2. I'd rather have 8 channels if given a choice.

If it's not broken don't fix it. Who came up with this new channel guide it is terrible.  There was nothing wrong with the old one.  The new guide does not tell you what the show or movie is about.  How do this guide make it faster & easier?   Do us all a favor and go back to the old guide.
