Well, in all honesty, since this covers most of the first month (the preview) - don't they typically drop the price for the last 3/4 of the year?  Does anyone recall them doing that in the past?

I always got MLB invites to sign up at discount - I just wonder how long you have to wait before you get those offers

Speaking of which, I was quoted 179.99 for the whole CI package by VZ, but the CI website quoted 4 payments of 39.99, which is less than 160.

Does anybody know the actual price?

Did anybody have any success getting this enabled without subscription?

These guys are a friggin mess. So I just called complainig about how they made me add the package. The rep said that was definitely misinformation and they are removing it from my account and that I will still get the free preview. **bleep**? I asked about the $179.99 and why it isn't $159.99, she had no answer and said that it's the contracted amount from the provider. So lets see if I still get the free preview.

So no free preview. They removed package and not getting free preview. One lady tells me free preview starts today and somebody else says tomorrow.

SD channels are now working, starting with channel 1475. No indication whether the HD channels are included in the free preview, but I don't think Verizon will show them. They would have to replace boxes for people with older equipment simply because they want to see a free set of games. Most of the Center Ice HD channels are MPEG4, so a 7000 series or newer box is needed to see them.

This is a MESS.

NHL Center Ice's free preview is from October 1 - 19. Verizon on Twitter did say last night that they would turn on the free preview on Thursday. https://twitter.com/VerizonFiOS/status/385185152759906304

Apparently they only have turned on the SD channels today.

For those who have a 6xxx motorla box, you are going to upgrade your box to get the HD Center Ice channels, as it appears these are using MPEG4 and the 6xxx box does not support it.

What has happened recently with FiOS and Sports? I am an Ultimate HD subsciber, and I have lost the "Sports Pass" channels (Longhorn Network 320, etc.) and then I also lost Red Zone last weekend after I had it for the first two weeks.

I hope they get this figured out soon, it is getting really frustrating to have to call or go online to reactivate channels I already pay for, or not get free previews that are being offered.

I also have Ultimate, and fortunately I haven't lost any channels I'm supposed to get. I saw on another thread that if these channels are lost, you can order them with the remote, and it will give a cost of $0. It was reported that the channels re-appeared within a few minutes. I hope this helps if you are still missing them.

I don't think we'll see the HD games in NHL Center Ice this time around, but if I was interested in getting them, I guess I would order the package and pay for it.

I am CableCard only, so when I lost the Sports Pass and then Red zone I have to reach out to support. I was able to get them back, but this would be the third time in a month that I've had issues with the sports packages.
