Don't know when this happened...but now Verizon is charging for onDemand Prime shows like Scandal, Revenge, etc. So, now I cannot catch-up on my shows not unless I want to pay between 2.99-3.99?!? What a rip-off? Why should it cost us to watch a show that was free to watch initially! Does anyone else know what's going on with this? We need to start a petition or something because this just doesn't make sense to me!

Just checked all those shows you mentioned and not a one of them is labled anything other than "Free." So not sure what's going on with your system.

Make sure you are picking them up from the right portion of the VOD menu. As said the shows you mention are still free if you pick them up from the FREE TV section.

Just hit On Demand -- TV Shows -- By Network. Anything available is right there - HD and SD.

We just switched to Verizon from Comcast. I was very upset to learn that you have to pay for so much on demand. Especially TV shows. With Comcast we didn't have to pay for ANY TV shows. You only had to pay for the premium movie channels in order to watch their on demand and the movies. You didn't have to buy a movie either, in order to watch it in the first two weeks it was out. You don't have to pay for TV shows for DIRECTV or DISH either. My teenagers are very upset that they now cannot watch on demand their shows b/c we are not going to pay $2.99 per episode for them to watch. We only switched from Comcast b/c they couldn't get their lines to work right at our home and after 6 mos of putting up with service interuptions I finally gave in and switched. Not happy that I did though.
Verizon has obviously become a money hog.

Just make sure you are searching in the free TV section. Plenty of free TV shows from most of the networks.

I too came from Comcast one week ago today. The FiOS picture is superior but that's where it ends. I was so disappointed in my move to FiOS that I started a thread on this board about their dismal selection of on demand shows. The options seem to change daily: at first no Parenthood or Parks and Recreation or Veep on HBO, then each of those shows showed up on the menu. I have no idea if they're still available today because I don't plan on checking the VOD menu on a daily basis. I'm just not going to get my hopes up in advance to watch any of those shows. Unfortunately, Parenthood only has the current season, unlike Comcast, which had ALL the episodes. I found the missing eps on my iPad in the Verizon Media Manager in something called "Flex View". I bookmarked an ep and found that the only way to play it back was on my TV in "Bookmarks" for - get this - $1.99! Just to watch an episode of an old network show! I could go on and on about my disappointment in FiOS but I'll just shut up and try to get used to it. One other thing, if you have an iPhone and you like to check your home phone logs / voice mails when you're away from home - like you're able to do with every other service provider - well, you're out of luck. Verizon DOESN'T have an app for that.

Yes - same here - default is SD, but we select HD and get the shows.
