Please please please add MASN2 HD to your line up. It is very sad to watch our home team, the Washington Nationals, on FIOS 1 standard definition, with crawlers, no less! According to MASN, MASN HD and MASN2 HD are both available to all providers.
Do you have any information about this topic to share?
Thanks.

I agree, Fios 1 is better than not being able to see the game but we need MASN 2 HD.

Hi Kathleen
Not really suggesting any channels to add but would like to suggest organizing the FIOS TV guide where you could see what channels are broadcast with or without HD such as doubling channels in the same place or a possible link where you could accept whichever channel you needed at the time. I currently have all the premium channels and usually do watch HD but when I can't find what I want there I then look at all the non-HD channels which have the same listing but more channels so I don't know which is which. Maybe even give an option or Favorite option that would group these type of channels together.
Thanks for listening

after 784 posts, i think we've requested probably every HD channel out there, at this point, how about some information on when these channels might start to come available. i know several have been added in the last few months, and even if there is no set time frame for more, if we could at least hear which of these channels are in the pipeline, that would be encouraging. i see other carriers that have the channels i would like and am starting to wonder if i should keep waiting for verizon.

Kathleen,
I would love to see the NBC Universal Sports Channel added ot the Boston area lineup especially after the announcement of the rugby coverage.

It seems that the other cable companies are more aggressive adding new content to their programming. Where at one point, Verizon FIOS was the leader, it is not at this time. Verizon needs to do a catch up to be equal or stay ahead of their competition. I know that Verizon is removing some of the West Coast feeds, but what will we get to replace them? Verizon used to add a block of channels each quarter, and for almost a half year, nothing has been added nationally after MSNBC. We have received some local programming, but not too much. I do like Verizon, and the choices that I have, but when I see the competition offering more than Verizon, it makes me think. I switched to Verizon because they had the most choices, so I sincerely hope that Verizon will catch up and move ahead of the competiton.

How about if Verizon starts adding HD stations to its Spanish language lineup. Currently, UNIVISION, TELEMUNDO and TELEFUTURA transmit their programming in High Definition, but Verizon carry them only in Standard Definition.

Here in NJ, two of them are in HD. Can't remember which one isn't, as we don't have any use for those channels, but they are carried in HD.
