Actually I would really just like to see a MUCH broader range of channels and movie choices made available for FIOS online. I just installed FIOS last week and am actually quite dissapointed. I purchased the Triple Play Package with the 35/35 internet, Ultimate HD package, and Unlimited Calling plan and for FIOS online I get Epix, The Disney Channel, TNT, and TBS. ...are you serious?

I would be all for having Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus in HD (they have been available from the program originators in HD since March 1 this year).

Actually, Verizon doesnt offer any television "online" content at all. Its those channels that offer online content and offers Verizon customers free access to their web sites. Those just happen to be the only ones (although HBO also offers online content) that have web sources. But Verizon themselves do not offer any online content at all. And they dont want to either. The TV providers are really starting to fight streaming content. Many are even putting caps on the internet to try and prevent people from streaming video.

I would like to see these channels in HD
G4 TV
BBC America
Also, I know that the NFL has a contract with DirecTV for getting all the NFL games package but they don't have a pay-per-game solution. It would be awesome if we had the option of just buying one or a couple of games instead of all or "what your area has", and I really like my FIOS tv (no dish on the roof!!).

As a big soccer fan I would like to see Fox Soccer Channel in HD. ESPN already offers HD soccer programming on Saturday mornings and I have just spent a weekend in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. I watched FSC in HD there all Saturday. If a small market like that can have the channel a large metropolis like the Washington DC area would surely appreciate it.
Thanks for listening.

@Darn wrote:Actually soccer is a lot bigger then you would think. USA is a nation of immigrants and in most other countries "soccer" is the biggest sport. Maybe because all the games are early in the morning it doesnt seem as popular. and btw timewarner and dish also have this channel, and comcast has said they are getting it soon. Verizon hasn't said anything and im guessing that means negotiations with fox aren't going well. Right now is the best time because people are still hyped after the wc, verizon and its customers are losing out.
Well, as far as TV ratings go, the WC Network ratings were very poor. Be that as it may, I certainly hope the channel appears for the fans it does have. Just so long as the rest of us don't have to pay extra for it. By the way, USA is not a nation of immigrants...it is more a nation descended from immigrants. Just sayin'..
