I'm in the NOVA/DC market.

I would very much like the following:

CBS College Sports in HD

BBC America in HD

RFDTV in HD

Turner Classic Movies in HD

The following should be offered as soon as HD versions are available:

Chiller HD

Sleuth HD

Reelz HD

Fox Movie Channel HD

My9 in the Buffalo area...I was under the impression we got that when I signed up and it's since been taken off the channel guide lists.

If I don't get MY9 back in the lineup for the Buffalo area, I'm canceling my FiOS TV subscriptions by next baseball season. I was told when I called about it that we should have it and obviously since we still don't, we don't. Most of what I watch during the summer is baseball, so without My9, I'll be switching back to cable when my contract expires. Hopefully you'll have it back int he lineup soon.

They're working on it, so right now the movies are just upconverts.  Might be a year, give or take,  before they are actually showing movies in HD.  So I can wait...(but I want it when they do!)

Happy that we'll be getting EPIX.

How about some Brazilian programming.  FiOS seems to have a decent international selection, but nothing from Brazil?

I would love to see a package deal for:

Globo

PFC

Record

If not that, maybe just Globo to start with.

Hi Kathleen;

Was wondering if there are any plans to extend FiOS 1 (local news) to Westchester County.   One of the biggest obstacles I hear for people not wanting to switch from Cablevision, is the lack of a News 12 equivalent and the absence of a local Traffic and Weather channel.  The widgets just don't cut it.  I see where FiOS 1 is being pushed for Long Island and I understand it's available in parts of NJ but there seems to be total silence on plans for Westchester.

I'd like to see two channels added -- Equator HD and Rush HD.  These are Canadian channels that used to be available in the United States as a part of the Voom satellite but are now only available in Canada again.  Equator especially had really, really good travel programming and Rush had pretty good 'extreme sports' stuff on it.  More info on Equator is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equator_HD_(Canada)

Rainbow also still produces a Voom HD channel that is international only and not available in the US currently.  Would be nice to see that too -- it would be something "different" that other providers don't have.

Beyond that -- as everyone else has already said -- Nasa TV HD, Fuse HD, AMC HD, G4 HD, TruTV HD, MSNBC HD and CNN Headline News HD would be my highlights.

As you said, Equator & Rush are part of VOOM, they are not available to anyone in the Unites States anymore!

Why couldn't Equator be available in the USA if a provider like Verizon were willing to pay for the channel?  We have greek programming, German programming, etc.... so why not some Canadian HD channels?

Is there an FCC regulation that I'm not aware of that says Canadian programming can't be shown in the USA even if a provider wants to pay for it?  Is that why no one carries any Canadian channels in the states even though tons of US channels can be viewed in Canada?
