Take, take, take channels-how about giving back

Just lost one of our favorite channels - CLOO. How about giving rebates in return? CASH rebates, not useless channels we never watch.

LOL Thats a nice dream.

It would be nice if they at least would add more HD channels.

I just got home from vacation and found out CLOO was taken off of the channel line up.....EXTREMELY disappointed!!! Of course when I inquired about it I didn't get a real answer as to WHY!!!!!!

My advice to anyone thinking of switching from comcast to verizon is Don't do it!!!!  And if you do switch, do it without a contract.  You will still have to pay a 'restocking fee' when returning equipment. What a scam!! I just switched a month ago and I regret it daily. Once I get my $300 gift card, I'll pay the termination fee and go back to comcast.

I'm getting far less channels, choppy internet streaming and I get to pay$30 extra!!  It seems like every channel I want to watch, that was included with comcast, I  get the message 'subscription required'.  Be prepared to be nickel and dimed to death if you switch to verizon

No cable provider is going to be perfect everywhere. Fios is great here, but not nessasarily somewhere else. No different from Comcast. I had Comcast before and it was overpriced and never worked. Comcast also nickel and dimes you. They all do in some form.

Every provider also has their own channel packages. Researching this before you signed up would have prevented you from being surprised later.

Also, Comcast does not have more channels then Fios. HD channels alone, Fios has a good 157 and Comcast only has 104.

I did research it, but apparently not well enough. There are actually quite a few channels I had with comcast that I no longer get, and my bill is $15 more per month now. I could also remotly view my security cameras with no problems at all. With verizon they freeze up after a few seconds, I was tokd for one dvr, one cable card and one reg hd box, it would cost $29 but instead it is costing $36. Why do the boxes cost so much? Are there still people out there without HD? They have to be the minority. If verizon would let me out of my contract, I'd be gone today. Also paying $4.99 for a router that gives dsl wifi speeds is crazy

Don't get me wrong, comcast sucked and I couldn't wait to switch when fios finally came to my neighborhood. I never thought anything sou,d be worse then comcast, but I was wrong.

If you must try fios, do it WITHOUT the 2 year contract

i agree, they should lower prices if they change package and delete channels.  it should also cancel any contract we have with them.  they lied on phone and said coo was bought out, that is **bleep** I went to cloo websie and it says it is available through verizon:
