The statement that "Verizon is continuing to negotiate with the Tennis Channel and striving to return programming to our customers" is just a ploy to keep consumers hanging around a few months longer. Had I known that I'd be without the Tennis Channel for over 2 months now, I'd have switched to another provider on the first week. And although it's too late now for this season, I have no intention of missing a single tournament next year, with or without Verizon.

It's annoying when my friends describe the tennis matches that are available for them to see with Xfinity or Direct. When I converted my account from Comcast it was the knowledge that the Tennis Channel would also be available with FIOS.
Now I'm faced with the decision to convert back to Comcast which is an inconvenience to go through this process, but a necessary one.

That's an excellent point. Comcast carries it on the sports package, and there's no way Tennis Channel will let them keep it there when the carriage agreement is up for renewal. I do think Verizon has a good chance to get a deal done since their packages are a bit more flexible. Keep that in mind if thinking of switching to Comcast for this channel. Verizon will probably have it back by the time a potentially long dispute with Comcast happens.

It seems like Verizon is paying some attention, albeit in their own special way. The recent thread "Tennis Channel - Stop Negotiating and Bring it Back!" was deleted and merged into the older "tennis channel" thread. It seems like forum administrators don't want to allow the discussion to spread over too many threads. Who knows, it might give the impression that the removal of Tennis Channel is as of now, the most relevant subject to Verizon customers.

When will the tennis channel return to FIOS TV Ultimate HD? For several months now all I get is the message Verizon is continuing to negotiate with the Tennis Channel.
Why is it taking months and months to negotiate. I am not a big sports fan with the exception of tennis. It is one of the reasons I took on the additional cost of the ultimate package. I missed the end of the tennis year due to your negotiations. Can I expect this worked out in time for the Australian Open in January?!
Sincerely,
Jim Marinelli
