It is almost October.
Will Verizon:
ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever...
release the VMS1100 media server and IPC1100 set-top box to the wild?

Well, here is maybe a little bit of new news, hopefully good:
I don't believe the statement about wireless is correct for initial rollout however, I believe that will come later.

My contract is up in September and I am so through with Verizon. Seriously, you can't record more than two shows at once. The market place is speaking. I don't care if they do come out with a recorder that allows more than two shows at once to be recorded. There is no excuse for taking this long. None!

Stay tuned... (pun intended).
Correct. I have had the VMS (1 server, 2 clients) since early April, working well with a few minor bugs. I believe there is going to to an update to the software fairly soon, hopefully in May.

If you don't see the VMS 1100 advertised for your account on Verizon's main web page then it's probably not available in your area yet.
Do you have a local Verizon FiOS retail store?
The Upstate (Albany) NY retail store does not have the VMS 1100 yet, but they speculate it will be available sometime during June.
