You kidding? verizon cant even give us all the nba league pass games in HD! I agree with you they need to add more diversity, and i have a feeling the will eventully,It just takes time to get contracts and to have room to add channels to their system.

Enough people show interest and they might add it.  Normally international channels are a harder sell, but at least Verizon show more interest in adding some since they will get additional income.  Now try and get some small national channel to existing packages is a impossible sell.

If they can't squeeze an extra $50 out of you by doing so, you aren't going to get your Africa channel. It's ALL about money- screw the customer, get dollars.

Cable providers have a fixed cost to connect to a content provider. Plus it takes up a slot that is limited. So they all have to decide if it makes business sense for any content they wish to provide.

And like any business, they want to make a profit as well.
