Not understanding why I suddenly have HBO and Cinemax if I have not signed up for either one. I'm a new customer, just got a Fios bundle installed on Thursday. Have the TV Prime HD package with the free Epix/Starz/Showtime subscription. I never signed up for HBO/Cinemax and they're not listed on my programs online. Is this a free trial/preview type thing or should I contact Verizon about it?

It would be nice if we were informed of free preview via the mesage function on our boxes.

LOL! They don't even announce new channels on the message function until AFT
ER they appear! As for the preview, HBO wants everyone to catch the premiere of BOARDWALK EMPIRE...hoping that people will subscribe for the next 12 episodes. By the way, HBO viewership has quite rightly been dropping, while SHOWTIME's has been increasing. HBO crops its movies, SHOWTIME does not. Hmmm. Maybe some movie fans are waking up!,

I knew about the free weekend only from the Verizon post on Facebook.
