Horrible? Which of the missing HD channels being added would make you happy? One of your previous posts either mentioned three, or was quoting someone else who mentioned three.

Sorry man, but you jumped into the lake knowing what was there. Hard to feel sympathetic toward the cause in that case. I went back to FiOS full well knowing what it did and didn't have. I sampled another provider, didn't like them, and came back. Btw, ask how many people with DirecTV are happy today, having just lost something like 25 channels from Viacom? Or those with Dish having lost AMC and other networks recently? Calling FiOS horrible is nothing more than the usual 21st century hyperbole that runs rampant on message boards and blogs.

Really? You really believe that?
Here is a link to a web page that tracks the HD channels available on a variety of providers:
I encourage you to review it in detail comparing FiOS to whatever other providers you may have access to.
The chart is not updated every month but the last update was less than two months ago. When I look at the various available HD Channels there really are very few that I would want that FiOS does not have. And especially when I compare FiOS to Charter, which is the only other land-based option I have, FiOS looks pretty darn good.
I think a better description of the FiOS HD lineup would perhaps be "lacking in a few areas." To me it sure isn't "horrible."

Justin - Thank you for the chart. This is great and very helpful. After reviewing it, it did confirm my feeling toward Fios HD channels when compared to cablevision. I do agree that this depends on what channel one is watching more often than the others. Well, my opinion is purely based on my viewing preference. Yes, I should be more educated consumer and research it. I heard any good thing about Fios Internet and that's the main reason while I switch and take advantage of the promotion. I'm very happy with Fios Internet but very disappointed by its HD channels.
I'm surprised by many Fios protectors on this board and wonder if these were compensated somehow {please keep it relevant}
Well, it's not the end of the world. I will live even with horrible HD channels. There are many important things than HD channels. It would be nice to get more HD channels though. No plan to cancel anytime soon. After 2 years, we will see where we are and decide.

Try adding the first HD channel that you can see has over 400 votes. I will let you guess which one that might be. If you have been around for a while, I am sure you would know!

I see from the chart that VZ is the ONLY carrier that has the .tv channels. That should make everyone feel better.

Hey, we can't get them to KEEP popular channels (see Funimation), why would they add new ones?

LOL!!!!!
Y'lmow what really ticks me off? No, not the fact that VZ only adds sports and Hispanic channels. It's the fact that the .tv contracts expired last year. And, rather than add channels people have been waiting years for (CARTOON, HD, BBC-HD, etc. etc.), they decided to RENEW the contracts for the useless .tv channels!!!! Unbelievable but true.
