Thanks Techman. It really is very good to have you in here. I am looking foward to getting rid of the nasty hub error.
I have yet to get it on my new 1.6.2 system. Man it is nice.

I'm in central NJ and still on 1.6.0. I never got 1.6.1 (think there was a bug in it). Do I eventually go straight to 1.6.2 or do I get 1.6.1 first?
Thanks.

We just got the update here in Buffalo,NY., It seems pretty good so far. The SD pic is improved alot on my 2500 box and marginally on my 6216, but better non the less. Not as good as the original 7216 series box I had. The SD pic on my old Sony with the 2500 is better than my nice Sony with the 6416 STB. I will also say the remote and box functions seem to operate smoother and quicker. Channel changing is quicker and I seem to get less pixelization and audio breaks with this update which is worth it on its own. I don't need or want all the extras, I just want the pic quality as close to perfect as I can get and a DVR that is reliable and easy to use. I think I will still buy a Tivo HDXL when my free year of DVR runs out with Vz, unless of coarse they come out with something better before that but I am not holding my breath. Thanks Vz for having this forum.

I'm from West Seneca and I echo these comments. However, I want to wait a few more days to see if I still get the currently unavailable message. The SD picture has improved greatly on all my devices. I still do see some issues with remote input lag when i'm scrollingin the guide. I personally don't care but it drives my wife nuts.. told her to suck it up and deal with it because i'm not going back to TWC....
